Ma in qualche esibizione potremo tornare ad ascoltare Precious con la sua linea synthetica "massiccia", così come fu concepita in studio? Per me, anche se è noto il suo giro di chitarra, Martin potrebbe accodarsi benissimo dietro un synth. E fare una roba succosa, nonché qualcosa per cambiare.

E lo so...

Personalmente credo che se Precious non avesse avuto la "succosità" (non trovo altro termine) elettronica della versione studio, non avrebbe dato mai quel lancio felice alla risonanza di PTA. Che a me piace come album, ma bisogna dare al singolo quello che merita.

La versione live la vedo molto svilita, anche per quello che è il messaggio di purezza della canzone, che tra ancheggiamenti e grancassa, si perde totalmente.

Tu chiamale, se vuoi, sensazioni.
Per quel che gira (molto poco) in rete in merito a Memento Mori, e per gli spunti dell'ascolto personale dell'Admin, mi lancio in una profezia sul disco. Non ci saranno pezzi col botto, niente classici o superbrani (Precious è un classico, per capirci, Wrong un super brano), ma songs mediamente buone, con suoni e produzione migliori rispetto agli ultimi quattro album.
Sarà il disco che, senza aprire a nuove masse di fans (come fu per PTA), ridarà ai DM lo scettro di band di culto in ottima forma nonostante l'età.
Mi aspetto un album che farà abbastanza felici tutti, compresi i devoti di lunga data. No singoli strepitosi, sì atmosfera e qualità apprezzabile nell'insieme.
Per passare il tempo dell'attesa bisogna giocare di immaginazione.

Anche io ho buone sensazioni. Non credo che per loro si possa fare "peggio" di Delta Machine e Spirit.

Io credo che a livello di testi Spirit sia in generale il peggiore, o almeno è l'unico album dei DM in cui non riconosco lo sguardo di Martin "sul mondo in cui viviamo e la vita in generale". (Fail e Eternal escluse infatti per me sono due perle).
Hanno provato a ricalcare i testi di CTA ma a 'sto giro l'hanno pisciata alla grandissima.Per quanto riguarda la musica ci sono diverse cose che mi piacciono in mezzo a cose che proprio no, ma con i testi ci sono state cadute verticali.
