Prevedo il bannaggio per la mia scelta di Barrel. E' il pezzo con cui ho fatto davvero una fatica bestiale a entrare in contatto. E ancora adesso ho dei problemi. Lilian invece mi è dispiaciuta votarla perchè ha un suo senso a me piace un casino nonostante tutto. Ma in quel disco ce ne sono decisamente di più belle di quella. Che fatica ragazzi...

io invece ci rimango malissimo quando vedo segnata Come back che ritengo insieme alla mia Peace una delle più belle del disco. E per Photographic boh stesso discorso per barrel: non mi ha mai preso del tutto.

Fra quelle dei primi album boccio su tutte The Meaning Of Love.Dei miei due album preferiti non mi sono mai piaciute Get Right With Me e The Sweetest Perfection.Di Exciter elimino Comatose.

2. What's your name: troppo adolescenziale, frivola;


A broken frame

1. The meaning of love: in realtà è solo il divario con "mostri" del calibro di LIS, MSG, NTF e TS&TR a renderla apparentemente deboluccia; la versione in 5.1 spacca di brutto; fosse stata così l'originale, sarebbe stata una delle migliori del primo periodo;

2. A photograph of you: come sopra;


Construction time again

Nessuna;


Some great reward

Somebody: la presenza di una canzone, seppur bella, solo piano in un album troppo digitale stona troppo; meglio come b-side; migliore cmq la versione singolo con il battito del cuore che forma la parte ritmica;


Black celebration

Sometimes: potrei far valere quanto scritto sopra per Somebody, ma non la ritengo brutta in quanto il piano è effettato con un bellissimo riverbero e la durata del brano non è eccessiva ma giusta;


Music for the masses

1. To have and to hold: costruita principalmente sulla potente batteria, ma si poteva fare di meglio;


Violator

1. Halo: ritornello finale troppo ripetitivo;


Songs of faith and devotion

1. Condemnation: ma dove sono i DM!?;

2. Get right with me: totalmente insignificante, inutile;


Ultra

1. Jazz thieves: uno degli episodi più brutti in assoluto, insignificante;

2. Freestate: troppo conutry e poca elettronica, questo un grossissimo errore di pre-impostazione arrangiamento;

3. The bottom line: anche qui l'arrangiamento non è il massimo, troppo ripetitivo e scarno; poca elettronica, si poteva fare di meglio;

4. Insight: si poteva fare di più sulle sonorità e l'arrangiamento poteva essere migliore, finale troppo ripetitivo;


Exciter

Canzoni tutte decisamente brutte per quanto riguarda arrangiamenti, stili e sonorità; Shine è l'unico - grande - brano degno a salvarsi, a testimonianza di cosa erano stati prima di allora i DM;

Miles away (the truth is): sperimentale per quanto riguarda la voce campionata inserita come ritmica, ma a guastarla è lo stile troppo country, peccato.
