Però io non riesco a scegliere le mie parole preferite. Ogni verso di Martin mi è entrato nell'anima, non saprei sceglierlo nemmeno se mi mettessi lì una settimana. Non ho nessun dubbio: come compositore ha il (mio) primato non solo per la musica, ma anche per le liriche. Perfino all'interno della stessa song non saprei scegliere la frase migliore; le porto tutte dentro di me e mi vengono in mente involontariamente a seconda del mio stato d'animo..[/size]

Credo che ogni verso di Stripped abbia un significato che ci tocca da vicino..e nonostante ne sia passata di acqua sotto i ponti dal 1986, quei versi rimangono di grandissima attualità. Tra tutti citerei questo, che a chi poco capisce di poesia pura potrebbe sembrare banale, mentre in realtà nasconde un significato molto profondo: "Let me hear you make decisions without your television".
