Scherzi a parte, c'era anche un concorso sul sito ufficiale per poterci assistere, ma le registrazioni saranno effettuate a Londra.

Top of the Pops präsentiert: TV-Auftritt von Depeche
Mode und exklusive Live-Premiere der neuen Single "Precious" am 1. Oktober 2005 bei RTL.
Ihren einzigen Auftritt im deutschen Fernsehen zur
Präsentation ihrer neuen Single mit dem Titel "Precious" wird
die englische Kult-Band Depeche Mode in der RTL-Chartsendung
"Top of the Pops" haben. On Stage ist Depeche Mode am 1.
Oktober 2005, um 17.45 Uhr bei RTL. Für die Erfolgsband ist
dies der erste reguläre Auftritt im deutschen TV seit 1997.
Seinerzeit waren sie in der RTL-Comedyshow "RTL Samstag
Nacht" zu Gast.
Ein weiteres Mal werden sie am 15. Oktober bei "Top of the
Pops" auftreten.
Die Single ist der erste Vorbote zum neuen Album mit dem
Titel "Playing The Angel", das am 17. Oktober 2005 weltweit
bei Mute/EMI veröffentlicht wird. Für Dave Gahan, Martin L.
Gore und Andy Fletcher ist es das insgesamt 11. Studio-Album
in ihrer mittlerweile 25jährigen Bandkarriere, in der sie
bislang insgesamt über 50 Millionen Tonträger verkauft haben.
Auf ihren viel umjubelten Tourneen begeisterte die Band
weltweit über 10 Millionen Zuschauer.
Anm. der Redaktion: Die Band spielt am 31.01.06 in der Arena Genf und am 28.03.06 im ausverkauften Hallenstadion. Für das Konzert in Genf sind beim Ticketcorner noch Karten erhältlich
Mitglieder und Freunde von dm.ch werden in Köln vor Ort sein und vom Anlass berichten. Die Sendung wird am 8. September aufgezeichnet. Depeche Mode performen Precious in den kommenden 2 Wochen in Europa in diversen TV Shows! Ob die Band auch bei SF DRS die neue Single promoten wird ist noch unklar. Beh se non vanno a questi programmi dovremmo essere disperati perchè vuol dire che non entrano nei top 40....guarda che TUTTI si esibiscono in questi programmi.....e io spero sabato 10 di beccarli su Italia 1 o su Rai 2....

Presenteranno più in la il secondo singolo ma lo registrano giorno 8 settembre quindi evidentemente sanno già quale sia...lo hanno già scelto!

Ma certo che lo sanno già! Cari ragazzi miei, quando si pianifica una release del genere si pianificano anche i primi 3 singoli (4 se l'album va bene, ma dal 1987 ad oggi va sempre bene!).
Voci indiscrete parlano di JOHN THE REVELATOR. Boh?

September 1st, 2005: DM will perform Precious (and one more song - probably the 2nd single) @ Top of the Pops. The recording is scheduled for September 8th in Cologne in front of 150 fans.

Top Of The Pops è praticamente obbligatoria per tutti coloro che entrano nella top 20 uk.
CD Live idem con patate (anche se è trasmissione nata in contrapposizione alla stessa TOTP e sponsorizzata dall'industria discografica UK).
I due programmi vengono regolarmente registrati a londra (ma anche a volte in altre capitali europee, visto che ne esistono succursali locali in ogni paese europeo o quasi) e poi ritrasmessi nelle loro parti che prevedono gruppi o artisti che registrano la performance una volta sola. I dM sono tra questi, come , chessò, Madonna o i Coldplay (per non tirare in ballo i soliti U2).
Insomma, che la band prenda parte ai due tv show è cosa assolutamente normale. Accadde anche per Exciter, del resto.

John The Revelator credo sia un bel pezzo "cattivo"... qualcuno conferma?
