Domanda: consideri sempicemente così Nothig to fear?

molto difficile fare una classifica di album,anche perchè ogni album è una storia a se....ho "partorito"la classifica dopo anni in Tibet...
Poi c'è da tenere in considerazione il pre e il post Alan...comunque ci provo:

pre Alan:

1 Black celebration
2 Songs of faith and devotion
3 A broken frame
4 Violator
5 Music for the masses
6Construction time again
7 Some great reward
8 Speak and spell (anche se all'interno ci trovo pezzi geniali vedi big muff,any second now,puppets... )

2 Sounds of the universe
3 Playing the angel
4 Exciter

Anyway.....
In ognuno trovo sempre e comunque fascino,genialità,ricerca del suono e tanto talento.
Ho 34 anni e amo i depeche dalla tenere età di 11 anni....

A tratti geniale Speak and spell se si pensa che ha 28 anni (all'interno ci trovo pezzi geniali vedi big muff,any second now,puppets...)
Personalmente,Speak and spell mi piace per metà, anche perchè a mio modesto giudizio l'abbandono di Vince Clarke è stata la fortuna dei DM e la fortuna di tutti noi....perchè da quel momento le "redini" le ha prese in mano qul genio di MARTIN.

Ultimo lotto di dischi, i peggiori in assoluto a mio parere. A Broken Frame suona più moderno di Sounds of The Universe il che è tutto dire.

So che questa classifica farà storcere il naso, ma è evidente che sia legato ai dischi del periodo di maggior creatività della band.

Non mi fa storcere il naso perchè sono opinioni soggettive e vanno rispettate...ma , per quanto io possa amare ABF, quel passaggio proprio non lo capisco...ok, non ti piace SOTU, ma da qui ad affermare certe cose ce ne vuole (IMHO)

e poi...

Concordo con Monument! Si parla tanto delle strumentali...NTF è la più BELLA che i Depeche abbiano mai creato! Vabbè alla fine il mondo è bello perchè è vario...del resto io sono tra i pochissimi che si sono innamorati di Miles Away

NTF è la più BELLA che i Depeche abbiano mai creato!

Anch'io sono d'accordo sul fatto che Nothing to Fear sia un ottimo pezzo strumentale... fatta appunto in quegli anni in cui il synt pop e new romantic erano nel pieno della loro espressione...
Mi rimanda infatti a sonorità tipiche del synt... io in NTF ci vedo molto Ultravox... IMHO naturalmente e cmq penso sia un complimento
