è che da quando ho visto come reagisce di fronte a coloro che scrivono il suo nome così, ogni volta che mi capita di leggerlo errato lo correggo. In pratica cerco di salvaguardarti.

I often ask myself this question regularly and trust me, my management and I have been trying to get this project off the ground for a long long time with various companies. When the record sales go up and this horrible era of taking everything for free starts to change, then money comes in to my business and I can re-invest this into protecting and re-releasing the back catalogue and getting some unheard and unseen archive footage/recordings of concerts and albums into public domain.

Scusate ma per quando era data l'uscita di Conqueror? O non si sa ancora nulla...

le ultime voci, che comunque risalgono a qualche mese fa, davano l'album per finito e in fase di missaggio. il che però vuol dire poco, perchè per sua stessa ammissione little pat cambia idea un miliardo di volte prima di trovare la soluzione che lo soddisfa.. e i tempi si allungano di conseguenza.

Fa piacere sapere che Patrick ha cambiato l'account Twitter da una vita e nessuno ne sapeva niente.

Dunque, l'album è pronto, il video del primo singolo (The City?) è stato girato, le b-sides le ha mixate nei giorni scorsi, le foto dei singoli e dell'album già sono state fatte..

Ma quando cacchio esce sto Conqueror?!?!

Molto probabile direi, anzi io azzarderei anche febbraio.
Sarebbe un peccato se cambiasse il nome all'album, ma dopo che si è rimesso "sotto" all'Universal, non mi sorprenderebbe più di tanto.

The Return of Patrick Wolf

We can now announce that Patrick is getting ready to release his fifth album.

As yet without a title, we can tell you that you will be able to hear the first sounds from the album next week.

The first track to be taken from the album, 'Time Of My Life' will be getting its first play on Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 show on Wednesday 3rd December.

Discussing the first single, Patrick says: "'Time Of My Life' is a song that I began writing at the end of a relationship in 2006 and then finished three years later during a temporary break up in my current relationship. The new album has a direct narrative about love and optimism surviving through adversity and recession. I wanted to celebrate the love and hope I have found in the last few years."

Released on December 6 'Time Of My Life' will be available on very limited edition 7" vinyl featuring a Leonard Cohen cover of 'Anthem' on the Bside.

To kick of proceedings Patrick will be performing a few intimate shows around the country in December.

5th December - Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach
6th December - Guildford Boileroom
7th December - London Bloomsbury Ballroom
